How was everybody's opening weekend?

I personally came up empty handed this past weekend but will be getting after it again this weekend. How'd you all do?

How was everybody's opening weekend?

I was hunting on my parents property down in Jackson County, OR and saw a 3-point and a 5-point on FRIDAY (of course). Saturday morning watched the 3-point for about an hour while he grazed 10 ft into my dad's neighbor's property (otherside of a 5 foot fence on a non-hunters property neener! ). Sunday morning saw 9 does and 4 fawns. Monday morning saw the 5-point again after i was loaded up and headed back to Idaho... Cry go figure.
Maybe I'll see something a few days before or after Cascade Elk season...

Saw a lot of deer (15 in all) but nothing legal. had one doe so curious about me that she walked up to within 10 yards of me. pretty fun stuff.

Welcome to the site Henry. Did you get that buck out of Sheridan? Don't usually see them that nice in the valley any more.

My season opens next weekend but on the way home last night saw a 5 point monster elk and his harem of 6 cows 20 feet from I-5 Just out of springfield

MY SEASON DOESNT OPEN UNTIL THE 13TH BUT I FOUND OUT WHERE I AM GOING AND HAVE IT ALL PLANED OUT IF EVERY THING GOES RIGHT I HAVE BEEN WATCHING A BIG 5X6. I AM HOPING HE WILL BE THERE SAT MORNING. GOOD LUCK TO EVERY BUDY AND NICE DEER HENRY
