I don't know about kissing on the lips, 'cause it never happened. I don't know how the Saudis feel about photoshopping to create a lie, either. But I know how Americans feel about it.

As far as the hand-holding shot, go ahead and post it. Bush never denied the incident. And BTW, the king reciprocated a mutual display of friendship for that society. There's a big difference between holding hands with a friend versus having a vassal bow to you in subservience.

And by the way, the White House's claim that Obama stooped because Abdullah was so much shorter just doesn't hold water. Obama's 6'1-1/2". Abdullah is 5'9" -- only 4-1/2 inches shorter. Queen Elizabeth, on the other hand, is 5'4" -- fully 5 inches shorter than Abdullah and 9-1/2 inches shorter than Obama. And yet the height difference didn't have the same effect when he met the Queen.

As I said before -- it's offensive to have him insult our intelligence by trying to lie about this. That says a lot about how much respect he has for the American people.

Some people argue that he had no control over his choice to kiss another man or become a male chearleader. Most conservatives would disagree. Choice or predisposition I'd say it's a personal matter and has no affect on how I think of a politician.
