Well, lets see.  I have about

Well, lets see.  I have about 3 more weeks for one deer hunt and a about a couple of months for another.  In the mean time I have a couple of elk hunts and a antelope tag to take care of my time along with building up a hand load for my up coming bear hunt next spring.

Still about 6 weeks out for

Still about 6 weeks out for my first real hunt of any kind. As far as the weather goes it's actually beena little cooler than normal for this year in my opinion. It's been running in the mid 80's to low 90's on the worst days and starting the mornings off between 55 to 65. I look forward to the fall and the coming seasons but the thought that the snows could be so close already is sort of depressing.

We have low 90's forecasted

We have low 90's forecasted for Monday and Tuesday. Then the next week is forecasted for the low to mid 80's. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60's. I am going to take the video camera out to the bean field tonight and see if I can lay down some video footage of some big bucks. 54 days to go!!!!! Here is a side note. 24 days until our first high school football game. The next best thing to deer hunting.

I was able to get in about 1

I was able to get in about 1 minute of video footage of a really nice looking mature 8 point. Would have liked more but that's the way it goes when you have all kinds of people out doing this and that. 53 more days to go!!!!!
