never

Since I don't have any trail camera's I can never put them up. I don't have any objections to owning or using trail cameras, I just have never thought that they were worth the cost needed to aquire them - at least not yet....

Game cameras

Never.   In Montana "It is illegal for a person to possess or use in the field any electronic or camera device whose purpose is to scout the location of game animals..."

Well, you could technically

Well, you could technically still use them in Montana.  You just have to remove them once the season starts.

The law states that you cannot use them "during any Commission adopted hunting season".  I remember there being some concern when they published the law last year, i think, in the Montana regulations.  It had actually been passed in 1999.

As the NRA article states, they think the intent might have been meant to prevent people from having live feeds from the field, so you could monitor ,ultiple places, and run out to wherever you see your deer.
