Moss, great story! There's nothing like the first. That will be a hunt that sticks with you forever. Congrats and way to put the meat on the table...my dad gets buck fever every year! He always misses, even the does! Good shooting and keep after em' bud!
Great buck and stories. Unforunetly I had to eat tag soup fot my deer last year as the road was so muddy and rutted I could bit get into the area....even chained up on all four and still could not do it......bummed me out.
Accuracy. What an incredible way to give yourself a true advantage.
Go to your club and get a bunch of guys together - and put a target out there at 250 meters. Break out the deer rifles and see who can shoot a decent group, even off of the bench, at this distance. I think you will be shocked at how few can do it.
