how to adjust a 5 dot sight?

I've done some r esearch on this and can't seem to find the info I need online... could be putting the wrong questions in the search box.

I've got a 5 dot Tru Glo sight for my compound bow and was wondering what the closest setting would be. Is it the top dot? The middle? The bottom? I'm thinking the top one but it seems like the bottom one would make more sense as the closest set?

It would be no different than

It would be no different than any other bow sight.  Top pin is the closest bottom pin the furthest.

I've used this sight before

I've used this sight before but only ever used the middle dot, which was only set at probably 10 yards at most. I clearly have a problem with perception, lol.

As I get older my sight

As I get older my sight picture gets closer.  I have two pins on my bow.....close and closer.  My distant pin is set on 30 yards and my closest one is 10 yards and that is what I shoot at.  Any further and the animal walks.
