The little blond man with boobs (Peggy Noonan's description) just doesn't give up...

Can't wait until this circus shows up in Denver.

That's why Howard Dean wants to seal the deal before it gets to Denver.

It certainly looks like the Democrats are screwed. They created this "super delegate" business to enable the party to throw a trump card in case the population picked the wrong person. Funny how they scream about voter disenfranchisement, the popular vote, and every vote counting, and yet they make sure the actual power in their nomination process hinges on party cronies instead of the electorate. What hyporcites.

Unfortunately for them, they apparently didn't think it through. No matter which person wins, half of the party will implode in allegations of corruption and disenfranchisement -- especially since super delegates have been receiving money from campaigns. The screaming will be particularly loud if Hillary wins -- only they'll add charges of racism to it as well.

If Obama wins it, all the Republicans need to do is show the list of people indorsing Obama: Louis Farrakhan, Jimmy Carter, Michael Moore, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, etc. It's simple: you're known by the company you keep. Who do you trust more with the future of our nation?

Truthfully, it doesn't matter to me whether Hillary or Obama gets the Democratic nomination.......neither one of them will get my vote.

Quite frankly, I'm also fed up with all of the news coverage for the Democrat's and the lack of coverage for the Republican's.

Don't worry -- the press will go after the Republicans in due time. Once the Democrat nominee is declared, the press will wipe all of this away and give the nominee a free ride while they blister the Republicans.

Part of the lack of Republican coverage right now is they're being quiet for a reason. With Hillary and Obama tearing each other apart, McCain would be an idiot to get involved. All that would do is give them an excuse to attack him and thus deflect attention away from their bickering. Better to sit back and let them go at it. They're doing more damage to each other than he could ever do.

P.S. -- I also find it hilarious to see how badly the Dems have screwed up their process. All that caterwauling they've done about disenfranchisement, popular vote, and electoral irregularities during every election they lost since 2000, and yet look how the process would run if they were in charge. These are just primaries -- where they can set their own rules without opposition. And yet they've managed to completely disenfranchise two entire states (Michigan and Florida) and make the nomination hinge on party cronies instead of popular vote. So much for every vote counting. I was in Texas during their primary, and their system there was downright laughable -- Dems had to vote in the primary and then go back and vote a second time in the caucuses. So Hillary did better in the primary and Obama did better in the caucuses. It's like they're trying to screw it up.

What a joke -- if this is how they run things, there's no way these people need to be anywhere near the reins of political power. They can't even manage the people they agree with -- how would they ever manage an entire nation and diverse political opinion?

But the saddest part of this joke is that there are people who think that one of these clowns should be President of the United States. It's not only sad, it's scary!

Yes the continued fighting between Clinton and Obama has taken some of the wind out of Obama's sail. I think most people already know what to expect from Hillary and where she stands (regardless of party affliation). On the other hand, Obama was (and to a certain extent still is) riding the "change" wave. However, the last six weeks with Clinton's attacks have shown that Obama is nothing more than another Democrat with a somewhat elitist mindset. The "working class clings to guns or religion" comes to mind...

Clinton attacks force Obama to get down to the details of what "change" entails and when he has to verbalize his plans (his change) its revealed as more of just the same, no magic at all. This is work McCain would have had to undertake and still probably will, but at least Hillary is doing some of the work for McCain.

Clinton may still get the nod, especially considering MI and FL results that are being discounted at this stage.

I find the tenacity of the Clinton machine astounding. Clearly it probably would have been best for her party if she had stepped aside six weeks ago. But her and her war team simply will not stand down. Blowing money and political clout in the process. She very well may win the battle (the nomination) but in doing so lose the war (the presidency).

I personally find it amusing they are fighting so much and allowing the republicans to get a good head start. Also I find it ironic that both hillary and obama talk about how they are not elitist's but they belong to a party that has a system in place that actually makes the regular people's vote unimportant with the super delegates. Just in case you and I dont really know what we need. Ok maybe not you and me but some people. I just sit back and enjoy the free enterianment.

Think There is a republican running? Nah, you're joking right? Surely ain't that McCain guy that is bashing the NC Republican party - a republican wouldn't tell the NC republican party they're out of touch with reality would one?

He is the republican canidate, I personally wouldnt make him my first pick but on the other hand given the choice between obama, hillary or mccain. It comes down to picking which one is the least worst. In my opinion he is unreliable. But I know i dont think that everyone shouldnt have to have universal healthcare and so far mccain hasnt talked about raising taxes, licensing firearms ect. And in all actuallity Mcain will only be around for 1 term. But If you look at just the facts we would be better of with Mcain than either of the other two.

McCain may be the lesser of three evils and he may be the one I vote for, but he doesn't represent what I believe is a republican candidate. He is more aligned with the democrats than the republicans.

I may feel better about voting for him if he picks a good vice president candidate.
