High Country Fishing

My wife and I did some high country fishing last week at 11,500 to 12,300 feet. Had a ball catching 63 rainbows and cutthroats in 2 days. All fish ran 6-10 inches with only one pushing a little over 12. They are scrappy little fighters especially on light tackle and very colorful. Hard to beat the scenery and the wild flowers. Saw a few doe and fawns and several smaller critters which is always cool.

Thanks, it was a great trip

Thanks, it was a great trip and looking forward to going back. There are 2 other lakes in the area that require a mile or so walk into which I want to do too.

SOCO, For sure we will get out next season and chase these little beauties.
