I know life was hard back in

I know life was hard back in the mountain man days, but if I could go back to those times to live my life again. I'd jump at the chance. There's something to be said for going out to hunt when you run out of meat.

No licence, no points, no crowds of orange, and no season. Just go hunt when you needed it.

Buying a new Hawken rifle for $30 wouldn't be hard to take either.  :)

The problem was that it took you two years to save that $30.00.

Yes, but i'd still find a way

Yes, but i'd still find a way to have one. Bunch of beaver pelts ought to do it.

mountain men

the problem is you would trade all your pelts in to buy a squa so you wouldn't be so lonely and spend all you money at rendevous getting wasted drunk.

Just have to get more pelts.

Just have to get more pelts. After all. No mountain man worth his salt gives up on squaws and getting drunk.
