I have a chance to buy a brand new Hi Point pistol in 40 SW. Does anybody here have any history with one. I have done a little research and it soiunds like it could be an OK gun. Buddy needs money and it might make a good gun for the house.
I have no personal experience with them but do have one friend with one in 9mm. He loves his and has had no problems at all. I have read tons of reviews and very few owners have reported many problems. And everything I have read says that their customer service is among the best out there and will fix anything for free forever no matter who broke it or who owned it first.
If I got the chance for a good price I would grab it. I would love to try one of their new .45 carbines.
My biggest discomfort when it comes to hunting is my feet and when they get cold or wet my hunting fun slowly turns to a job trying to keep comfortable.
In my opinion wool socks are the only socks you should be using while hunting. Any other socks do not provide the proper insulation and if they get wet all they are good for is giving you blisters.
