Glad you're back safeand sound. Here's a little something you might consider for your next trip.
A pack of those little foam like fire starters, that are for lighting the charcoal BBQs.
Lite easily,burn considerably long in any weather,lightweight.. A great survival item if you don't already have some.

CONGRATS!!! Nice bull. Sounds like a nice trip. If you discovered anything else for your list while actually out there - quick write it down (for next time) - and now you can forget it and SAVOR the wonderful memories of the hunt.

Congrats on the bull! Nothing puts a smile on my face like packing out elk meat.
