Hi everyone or I should say Darz bor - traditional Polish hunting greeting.
Have you ever wondered and thought about the language that you use on hunting? Is it different from the common type that you use at work? How does it look like in different parts of the world? This is what I am dealing with
My name is Marek and I am a hunter in Poland for 6 years now (in Poland it is illegal to hunt before 18) and a student of English.
I am working on my MA thesis that concerns the hunting language. The work is based o n a comparison of English speaking type of language that is used among hunters with its Polish equivalent. In order to show the difference the best way is to compare it in the survey. And this is what i am asking for.
If you are not in a hurry and do have 5 minutes to answer 25 questions to ma MA survey please go to:
I guarantee that it is a safe webpage. It does not require any information about you and you can leave it anytime. The survey is posted on Polish server and in order to sent the results just click the blue "WYSLIJ" button at the bottom.
If you are interested in European hunting culture and how we do it in Poland you can get a contact with me by email: firstname.lastname@example.org Here are some photos from my hunting 'career' http://media.lowiecki.pl/zdjecia/opis.php?p=5972
Have you got any thoughts about the language that we use?
Take care and Darz bor!
P.S. This is my first post here so please forgive me if i start the topic in a wrong place.
