Hello from Ottawa area!

Well, just thought I'd drop in and say hi.

Appears I know at least one person on this board...

How's things Dave? You and Kelly still using that boat a lot?

Looking forward to spending some time here. I've read a ton of the posts here, very informative.

Finally got out and got my hunting license, a couple guns...good to go Thumbs up

Hoping to hit some ducks this week. with Muskiemagnet...Hoping...

I'm going to have to speak to admissions dept...it appears that are high standards for admission have gone out the window. Nice to see ya WIG.

We hammered the smallies all summer but lately the boat's been sitting idle up at the camp. You'll like this board - it has a pretty familiar feel to it.

What did you end up getting for a rifle?

Thanks guys, look forward to it.

Saskie, I ended up with a Rem 30-06 Model 7600 P/Action and a Rem 870 Super Magnum Camo-12 Gauge P/Action.

Should be an interesting fall..

hello from ottawa

If you got yourself a Rem 30/06 P/A 7600 . Then you made the perfect choice . I have had mine for roughly 30 years and I just love It has served me well . You can get from a 90 gr bullet to a 220 gr . Unlike the semie auto there is not as much matenance . Congratulations A great hunting rifle
. My friend has a 270 and that also is a great hunting rifle . Both excelent rifles
