People are angry and letting their elected representatives know it. If a politician can't take the heat then they should find another line of work.

The Obama administration really does want to silence the critics. His crony Pelosi resorted to characterizing them as nazis.

Obama may end up being good for the country in the sense he may wake up the many who have been sleeping and letting the policians do whatever they want for years.

Doesn't matter what PARTY they are in they are drunk on power and its time for the people of this NATION to SOBER UP!!

You're right. Our government is the people and until we realize that we are the problem and not the politicians we elect, we will not see any real change. We are the problem because we let our elect representatives continue to represent interests other than those of the people that elected them.

This is not a Repbulican or Democrat problem - it is politicians in general and it is up to us, the people, to correct it. The problem is that many of the people don't perceive our current situation as being a problem. They are content to get government handouts and content to live in a nanny state. How do you convince those that depend on government handouts that we should throw out those politicians and replace them with ones that threaten their way of life?

Personally I would like to see an emergence of more political parties. I think both sides we have now are corrupt and ineffective. Both have strayed too far from their intended original doctrine and both need to be reminded they work for us, not the other way around. The current administration could be the catalyst that's needed. We can only hope as both parties have had and blown too many opportunities.

what i have noticed from the videos is that the politicians in the most trouble are the ones spouting the obama party line of we need this done and done now without any ability to answer questions of what will actually happen afterwards and how things will change in medicine and the ability to afford such staggering costs. those same people seem completely unable to see that all other government programs really do not work well and cannot understand the resistance to such obvously stupid interference in the lives of the citizens. ,)

People need to have their questions answered, but we also need a bill that is not vague and broad so that we can be assured that what we see and what we're told is actually what will happen if the bill is passed.

For example, there is concern about abortions being included in the bill. We're told they're not. Simple solution - write that into the bill in clear terms. The same with the "death panels." Write the bill so that it is clear what can be discussed and what cannot be discussed during counseling sessions.

If Obama wants this bill then he should step up and address the concerns especially when he says that the concerns are not part of the bill.

Probably a dumb idea but why don't bill's address one issue and one only?

As for straying from their origional intended doctrine, they did thay long ago. I really don't believe that it was the intention of the formers of this country to have a federal government interfearing in every aspect of the people's live's. I believe it is the states right to govern within their state for their own state so long as the rights of the people are not being abused.

Someone tell me how being a politition became a career? Why isn't it two terms and out and forget about all the retirement benifit's from gov. Our soldiers don't get anywhere near the same benifits and they are the ones in harms way compliments of out polititions! I don't mind picking up the bill and paying while they are in office but shouldn't serving this country be an honor?
