Why shouldn't he? They have so much in common! See the story below, I couldn't make this up folks, honest. Here's an excerpt for you;

HAVANA – Fidel Castro watched the U.S. inauguration on television and said Wednesday that Barack Obama seems "like a man who is absolutely sincere," Argentina's president said after meeting with the ailing Cuban icon. "Fidel believes in Obama," Cristina Fernandez said.

It's good to see that Obama has made Castro's list of favorite things, along with Khrushchev, nationalizing private business, and expropriating private property.

It may take awhile to hear from Kim Jong Il, because they have to find enough food for the squirrels turning the generator.

Still waiting on Kim, but Obama just picked up an endorsement from Moamar Khadafi:

If we can just get Chaves on the bandwagon the only thing left to make his cabinet complete will be to re-animate Lenins corpse and teach it to talk. This is turning in to an Obamanation.

Chavez loved Obama back in November but apparently stopped having his Obamagasm last week when Obama said Venezuela needed to stop aiding FARC.

It's still early, though. After all, Chavez, like Castro and Khadafi, is a big proponent of nationalizing private industry and expropriating property.

Whoops...I spoke too soon about Chavez. Somebody must've reminded him that one must not criticize the Chosen One. Either that, or he heard about the stimulus money. For whatever reason, he seems to have had a significant change of heart in only four days.

Some of these are a little dated, but here are some other endorsements:

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran):

Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe):

(On a side note, Mugabe is a master at redistributing wealth -- he confiscated white-owned farms in "land reform" and ruined his economy in the process. In November 08 Cato calculated Zimbabwe's annual inflation rate at 89.7 sextillion percent -- 79.6 billion percent per month. They haven't calculated it since because it's now off the chart.)

Kim Jong Il (pre-election, but I doubt he's changed his mind):

Bashar Assad (Syria):
