trouble

since my computer got upgraded from IE8 to IE9 about two to three weeks ago, i have been unable to post pictures from my hard drive, as i used to do.  when i write comments and hit preview, my comments disappear and when i retype them  and hit preview, they keep disappearing, thus i cannot post anything as i cannot get past the preview stage to hit save.   since there are no comments, the form will not let me continue.  i am using the computer at work to see if this will go thru.  i also could not get a smiley to come up.  any ideas?

This sounds exactly like what was happening to me when I went from internet explorer 7 to 8.  I now only use Google Chrome as my browser for visits to big game hunt. net

The only problem that seems to have is that the links to facebook to recommend don't show up.

IE7 (on my work PC) still works just fine though!

Thanks for letting us know,

Thanks for letting us know, but it looks like an issue with IE9, even IE8 has that issue on some computers. The best advice we can give is to completely clear your browsers's cache. Also look at your browser's settings, maybe javascript is being blocked by default in IE9.

We've been recommending Google Chrome to get around the problems with IE.

IE9

I agree to stay away form IE9 for a while.  I am on a few other forums and just about all of them are having problems with it.  I tried to download it and it told me that my computer was too old, thank goodness.

You can also down load Fire Fox for free along with Google Chrome and see which one you like best.  I have been playing around with Fire Fox for a few months now and it looks quite stable.
