I have bowhunted for elk in colorado and Idaho the past 16 years. Been saving my pref points with the hope of drawing for rifle season in unit 201...am a die hard trad bowhunter...every bowhunt I could have killed every bull I saw...if I'd had a rifle. So with 16 PP saved when I do get drawn I want to go with a rifle. Here's my problem...I checked on how many points needed for 201,2,and 10...this year it takes 20 PP!!! Every year it takes more and more PP's...starting to feel I will never get drawn. Any sugestions would be most appreciated. I am in excellant shape and backpack hunt solo every year...

I checked and it looks like you can definately draw unit 61. It would be a great hunt especially with the style of hunting you like to do. There are lots of elk and even though it is a so called trophy unit there will be lots of people, but don't let that stop you it will definately be one of the best elk hunts you will ever have.
