hard luck turkey hunting

whent into california yesterday and today and nothing no scat, no tracks, no gobbles, and no public land. bummer hopfully better luck next weekend! Think

tryed it again this weekend with the same luck. no birds no signs, think i'll just stick to chuker and sage hen. hate to be twidling my thumbs untill october though. lol

Still no sigh of anything? We ran cattle this week and that blows all the game off the ranch for several weeks, there might be a slight chance they will come back during the extended archery turkey season, might be able to get you in? But i dont know if a bird is worth a 7 hour drive.

thanks for the offer "hoggetter"! i think im might head to spencerville wma i hear the have some turks there, i also here you have to pay a fee in cal to hunt in a wildlife management area. is that true?

Im not sure about that, but most likely you do, we have to when we hunt the wild phesants on some of them.
