I haven't heard as of yet ,just what it was . It was 1 of 2 things or a combination of both . He was a 3 needle a day diabetic and had high blood pressure . I'll find out Sunday when I vist his remains . Something I'm not looking forward to . To see my best buddy like that for the last time .

I thought I would post Greg's obituary. Man ,the tears are rolling down my cheeks as I do this .
Gregory Campbell
WESTVILLE – F. Gregory Campbell, 59, Dufferin Street, Westville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at his home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Francis "Flash" and Harriet (Landry) Campbell.
Greg was a member of the Westville Police Department for 27 years. He was an outdoors man, and had a great passion for hunting and fishing and was an avid pool player.
He is survived by his wife, Anne (Lalande); daughter, Charmaine (Mike Coady), Westville; son, Greg, Trenton; grandchildren, Melissa and Chawntae; sister, Marie Finley (Edward), Dartmouth.
Visitations will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday from Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville.
Donations in Greg’s memory may be made to assist his family.

Sorry for your loss, a best friend is a tough thing to lose. Hang in there, head up, remember the good times and hopefully one day we'll all get to meet again in the happy hunting grounds. My thoughts are with you and the family today.

Wow. That's terrible. So sorry to hear that. He was a good man for sure, and I'll miss him.
I am sorry to hear of Hammers passing. We will miss him around here. I feel like I have lost a friend too. I consider all you guys and gals friends. Especially you Nail. God bless you in these sad times.
Thank you guys so much for your compassion and warm thoughts for Hammer and myself . They sure helped me through Hammer's passing .
We laid him to rest Monday morning April 20th / 09 . I wish I could tell him just how compassionate and thoughtful our friends on the Big Game Hunt really are . I'm sure he already knows ........
