Congratulations on a great hunt.

Congratulations on a great hunt and a mess of fine eating for sure. For a trip that got cut short I would say you did very well and your buddies too. Great picture of all of you too. Thanks for sharing and good luck on any other hunts.

Boy, does that ever look like

Boy, does that ever look like a great Chukar hunt!!! Love eating those things, only wish there were more around here.  Gotta go a little north for the good populations of them.

Congrats!  No antelope, but looks like you guys still managed to have a great time!

Great job with the birds

Great job with the birds looks like you did really well. I've never had the chance to hunt chukars yet but would definately like to give it a try some time. We have them here I just haven't made the time for it.

chucker

Fantastic job.

For those who dont know, in order to have a table full of chucker like that you have to be a hard core bird hunter! those birds are not easy to hunt!!! Great Job

For those of you that have

For those of you that have never chased these beautiful birds it isn't for the faint of heart.  They are the only bird that I know of that will run up hill and then fly down it.  Also all the time that they are doing it they are just laughing at you as you try and keep up with them.

I have also said that the next time that I get a chance to shoot a couple of them I was going to have them mounted but they always end up as table fare.  They are a very good tasting bird.

A score like Brokenarrow has in his picture is definitely a day of hard work.

great hunt ...

Congrats guys, well done.  I started to ask why you weren't smiling with that many birds on the ground, then I realized fun and smiling have nothing to do with it - that's the look of sweet revenge!!
