On a recent fishing trip I caught my biggest fish ever. It was a 30 pound catfish. It took 15 minutes to bring him in. My grandson aslo caught his first fish ever. It was a large mouth bass. Here are the pics.

I have never caught a catfish bigger than about 2 pounds so that one's huge for me. Great job. Congratulations for your grandson as well and it's great you got a picture of it. My grandson is only 2 and I'll be taking him out for the first time in my boat Wednesday. I plan to hook him up with a fish but I'm not sure how well he'll do as that's still a little young. I know he will definately be excited about it though. Times like this are the greatest.
Yes they are. I think I was happier at my grandson catching his first fish than me catching my biggest fish.
As I said in the other thread, those are some great fish. I used to love catching catfish like that. They put up one heck of a fight!
Great job getting the grandson out there for a little bit of fishing. Maikng memories, that's the way to do it!!!
