Grease

What is the best way to burn grease, I am in an area that the fire danger is moderate, and I don't need anything to get out hand. Is it better to burn grease in a container? a bowl? any suggestions would be great. I also heard that burning honey in a can (Corn, Peas can) works good as well, has anyone ever done this before? and had results.

Thanks

Jason use a coffee can. The bigger cans work great. I did some honey burns and never did anything. But use the bigger coffee cans.

I use a coffee can nailed to a tree close to the bait and put in a couple of tablespoons honey and heat with a torch til it smokes . be careful honey will burn. I only do it like this when I bait . but when I'm in my stand I use a tin can on top another larger can and heat it with a candle or sterno. I don't know if it works but some says it does. My bears feed at night and are being stubborn right now. good luck
