be careful you don't get sued

be careful you don't get sued by the grand slam club.  They did sue the foundation for north american sheep over the term grand slam.  they won.  it is copy righted.  I may not agree with it, but the precedence has been set.

Just an observation, but it

Just an observation, but it sure does seem to have stirred up a ton of activity!Confused

...and you can obviously tell several who are REALLY bucking for the points!Whistling

Due to that, I like the fact that it need to be based off of quality as well. So I hope someone is monitoring closely, but that also seems like an impossible job!

"i hear you heavyc" it seems like this points thing is gettin out of hand, as if some folks are sittin around there computer just thinkin of all kinds of bogus topics to post, not to mention puttin in there 2 cents under every post to ring up points. in the archery section there's 4 or 5 topics all pretty much the same question back to back, looks like the anything goes forum is filling with trash too . but o well just have to weed out the b/s i guess.

We are monitoring as best we can. However if you ever see anything inappropriate, do bring it to our attention.  Did something get by us??

Naw, I haven't really seen

Naw, I haven't really seen anything inappropriate or bad...just a ton more activity, which can be a good thing!Wink

I do see quite a bit though, that just seem to be working points ::laugh2  I have no issue with that either if they are of good quality...glad I am not trying for anything, I have only a few hundred points, and that is pretty much off my normal amount of activity.

Good luck to everyone! SOME AWESOME PRIZES!In love

You're a great story teller

You're a great story teller and writer HeavyC - figured you'd be jumping in as well!

We really thought people would be sending in more stories and tips, rather than running around the forum so much. But hey, it's all good. The photo galleries are being used, that's awesome.

There's 4 more months of prizes after July!!

I'm with Heavy on this one, I

I'm with Heavy on this one, I think that the winner should be picked by quality of posts not number. There's 3 or 4 guys(not naming any names) posting useless information just to up there points. I would much rather read quality then try and dig through 400 useless posts.

Again no offense to anyone trying to win this contest. Some of the guys that post nothing but quality stuff on this site are like 50000 points behind the leaders.
