Well I finally conected with one. The hat worked great! I missed the big one at 59 yards. I stalked in on this group of bucks and when they spotted me they started coming right to me. I can't believe I missed (actually I can because I had been missing all week). Not a big deal, I found this lonely buck ten minutes later. I was able to get in front of him. With the buck just over a small rise, I slowely started to move towards him. When I got to the top of the rise, the buck was staring right at me. He was at 50 yards. I went to range him again, and he started walking right to me. I just stayed still. The buck stopped at 30 yards and put his head down to rub his horns. When he did that I drew and let the arrow go. Whack! My Montana buck tag is punched. Now onto some doe patrol!
