Congrats on a sucesfull

Congrats on a sucesfull hunt.  I very badly want to get back up to Wyoming and try to fill my doe tags with my bow, but after a disasterious last outing it really took the fire out of me.  Don't get me wrong I wanna go after them, but I really like hunting alone and the wife really does mnot want me to go back up there alone .....well atleast this year.

Congrats

Congrats on a nice looking buck. Hoping next year I will have the time to get out and chase them in Colorado or Wyoming. They are amazing critters and allot of fun and a heck of a challenge to hunt.

Congratulations on a great

Congratulations on a great buck and doing it the hard way. If I remember you were hunting here in Colorado? If so was it a limited hunt or one of the OTC units? I still want to give archery a try again but had too many arm problems this year.

I will be in Wyoming next week with my rifle with 1 buck and 2 doe tags to fill. But unlike you instead of 50 yards I only really need to get inside of 500.Lol

Congratulations again.

We hunted in unit 4 my son

We hunted in unit 4 my son got a left over tag for a doe and that was so cool that he was able to hunt to.He had sum great oppertunities on sum does but no dice. On sunday the temps dropped and the bucks where fired up cool to watch them by monday the rut was on. We where watching a group of does and there was a real nice buck with them and two more bucks there trying to move in when the big one chased them rite at my son all three stopped thirty yards in front of him if he had a buck tag that big one would be his but it was so cool to watch. I want to hunt those does again sum day there a lot of fun to hunt.

Impressive

Congrats on a nice looking buck!  How did you get within shooting range?  Were you in a blind, did you use a decoy, or where you able to stalk in on him using the terrain?  Congrats again on a great archery trophy!
