Got a little behind on the show and tell

Been busy lately and got a little behind on the show and tell, so here's an abbreviated version from the end of October onward:

Little deer camp for just me and my girlfriend in 2nd season:

She shot a buck twice, but we still lost him that season.  No blood, but knocked him down on both shots.  I believe the first was in the rump on an uphill quartering away, the second was a high shoulder.  Went down to private land, where we got permission to follow up, bumped him again, but lost after that.   Also, a couple of dink bucks that I snuck a picture of before getting busted:

3rd season camp just before the storm hit:

Next morning:

Was just a dinkfest, nobody killed anything.

Little kitty cat I got to chase down this morning to help recollar.  Got a lot of video that I'm working on getting uploaded right now.  We treed her four times in total.  Lotsa fun:

Then a buck that's been hanging around:

And while I'm at it, another one from back in October that I found while looking for elk:

I will say your pictures make me appreciate the desert where it doesn't often get as cold for as long.

Great story and photos.

Great story and photos.  Chivalry being what it is I'm guessing that the big tent was for your girlfriend?

big tent v little tent

Big tent was gear tent for four, little tent was food and cooking supply tent, plus other gear we wouldn't need in the big tent.  No wimmens on that hunt.
