I got drawn again in four years for bull elk. The last time in 6A and I shot a small 6 by 6. I'll use my same 270 winchester pre-64. I thought I had to tell someone,how lucky. Also I drew for mule deer in 23, these are AZ hunts.
Below the rim in the late season the elk come down regardless of weather in late October says Game and Fish. But some say the big bulls stay high all year. Both are right in my book. Scout a few weeks before and good luck!
