comon together hunting.. Briefcases for women
Here are some pic's from Georgia lease i was on last year, sure hated to let it go butt...This first pic is of a cabin i was told built back in the 1870's.Behind it is a Bass stocked pond. The second pic is look'n down to cabin but to left side, plastic wraped building in background is cook house. It has everything you can think of to cook with in it,plus dinning room.RV trailer's on left side of cabin and right side.Third pic is my Pop's and Uncle Bob,of course take'n it easy while me an cuz Kenny put deck on front of Pop's rv.Fourth pic is cuz Kenny(i call'him KB)either come'n or go'n.Fifth pic is an old old gravesite, date's on headstone's go back to 1800's.There's two of these on property.Sixth pic is a handsome feller that caught bass out of pond(O that's me).Sure would have liked to stay on this lease but there were sum stipulation's that i did'nt like, and the cost, and the 8 hour drive one way.Pop's,Uncle and Cuz KB stayed on,wish them Good Luck!

That sucks you had to give up the lease due to terms and money. Sounds like you had allot of good memories in that place so kind of like loosing and old friend. Being from Colorado it is somewhat of a strange concept to me as I just camp/hunt public lands and never had to think about a lease. Just another difference in our great sport from east to west. Hope you can get hooked up with a new lease soon that works out for you and your group.
What sux SGM is the Company i work for is close'n door's,that's one reason i did'nt get back on.Did'nt and Dont no where i'm go'n to be Job Wise.I think i've got another in the bag though, big pay cut but with benefit's it make's up sum.The main reason i did'nt get back on was a Rule they had,the only way wife could hunt.I had to sit in stand with her with only one rifle, she could'nt sit in a stand by herself. She did'nt like that and niether did i,they wanted me to pay another Membership Fee to do so.But we do have a lil piece of property here in Florida we have permission to hunt, and it's only bout 10 min's from house. It's not Ohio but it's a place to hunt, fish and just get out and enjoy outdoor's.Matter of fact when i get threw with this we're take'n break from hunt'n and go'n to see if the Speck's are a bite'n.Gotta go hook up to john boat....B-Safe!
Chrisp, sorry for the late rwply but I have been traveling the last few days. Good luck on the new job amd hope all works out for you. That really does suck about your wife and that rule. There is no way my wife and I would have gone for that! We both love to hunt but sitting in a stand together with one rifle is crazy. Maybe with a 10 year old kid but not am adult. Sorry to say but sounds like they just wanted more money. Hope that the FL property works out for you. At least it is closer to home. Will be out scouting this weekend for deer and elk. It is about 4 hours to this area but I do not mind the ride. Take care and good luck out fishing.
I've always wondered what it would be like at a deer camp? But, since I have only hunted about 15 minutes from my house being the farthest, I have never been to a deer camp.
MOTF. Deer and elk camps are the best places to be. I live for this time of year when I'm out in the mountains setting up camp for my 7-10 day hunts. If you haven't had that experience you need to make sure you do. I'll have to dig up some pictures of my hunting camps. I like the rustic middle of nowhere tent set up. I have never hunted out of a cabin or modern amenidies. its alway been tent and no plumbing outdoors. My usual hunting spot we camp next to a creek for water for cooking and showering but thats about as modern as we get. I love living and hunting out west and wouldn't trade it for anything.
Nothing greater than a real deer camp with great friends, great food, great drink, and GREAT hunting... great hunting stories too that is!
