Good luck charms

How many of you have good luck charms you take with you on your hunts? I have a bandana I take with on every hunt, I've had it since i shot my first deer.

I don't take them with me but

I don't take them with me but find one on the hunt.  Many many years ago when it was still leagle to pick up arrow heads I found a real nice on two days before the hunt.  On the afternoon of the opening day I had the rare oppurtunity to take two 4x4 bucks with one shot.  They were standing so close together and perfect alignment that I could of done it with ease but waited until one of them cleared.  Another time I saw a hawk take out a flying grouse and while doing so he lost a feather.  I picked up that feather and stuck in in my hatband.  That night I saw the bigest 7x7 bull elk that I have ever seen and this was the same area that the Spider bull came out of in Utah and I personally believe that he was bigger than the Spider bull and yes I have seen the Spider bull.  Since it was only the deer hunt I watched him feed for about 10 minutes while there was still light enough to see him.  He was only about 75 yards away from me.  You may call it luck or just chance but sometimes strange things happen.

face paint... might seem

face paint... might seem silly particularly since I cover my face up anyway.  But I always paint up my face before a hunt

That's kinda weird, painting

That's kinda weird, painting AND covering up.  I have actually thought about going back to just painting.  I don't like how the facemask I have cuts down on my hearing, plus when I move, it makes a sound in my ear like leaves rustling or something.....

I've got a cross that I made

I've got a cross that I made from the same lead balls that my gpa used to shoot out of his old hawken. I also carry a rusty skateboard bearing. Pretty darn wierd, I know.

I like Goose's idea too.
