A good book for a hunters library

I picked up a good book by Durwood Hollis. "Hunting North American Big Game".

There is information on habitat, future, method of hunt, modern rifle recommendations, archery, black powder, gear, habits of ,meat care, etc...

It's a good book for a hunters library and some interesting reading and views.

good idea

I own that book and YES, it is a very good read. I've read many books by Jack and Elmer, all were good reads! The best book any hunter can read in my opinion??

This one! And there is zero doubt!!

AMERICAN  HUNTING  RIFLES: 1995, Author is Craig Boddington

This is the finest book written EVER for your consideration about what cartridge for what??

fuzzybear, good to see a post from you.  Haven't seen or heard anything from you in a while.  Or maybe we've just been on different topic threads.  I'll have to get that book.  Thanks for posting about it.
