My 16 year old son has a bull tag for the first late season in area 20. We have hunted storm mountain in the past. Any other areas that would be better for a big bull that we can start scouting? We live in Berthoud so we are close to most of the area.
but you can hunt closer to the park than that
I can give you some info on where I have seen some good bulls, but you will need some snow to push them down in order for them to get to the lower ground. Send me a PM and I will send you all the info I can...if you want it. I do not know of many places close to the park.
I agree with exbio... there are places closer to the park that you can look into. Get a good land ownership map and keep heading up the canyon. Good luck on the hunt and keep us posted.
