GMAC signs over government control

I'm going Galt -- the next time I buy a vehicle, it's going to be Ford or Toyota.

I've always been partial to Dodge and Jeep, but now that it looks like Fiat will own them I'm not so sure. Maybe Toyota is starting to look good to me, but I hope I don't have to have another car payment for a long time. Anymore I tend to drive a vehicle until it either dies or starts costing me too much per year in upkeep, and I do the vast majority of maintanence on my vehicles all myself, so that saves me hundreds to thousands of dollors per year anyway..

Unfortunatley we just couldn't teach the auto US industry a hard lesson. But other companies need to know they can't scew themselves and expect uncle sam to come to the rescue.

The world of capitalism is darwinian and unforgiving. I needs to be so. Cull the herd of the weak and outdated so all may be stronger. Government bail outs interfere with this and IMHO are propping up companies better left to die if need be. Sad as it .
