Getting ready for bow season

How many of you guys shoot your bow year round keeping in practice for this fall? Or do you put it away after the season and wait for the warm weather to finally come and start shooting again...

Words to live by. I wish I

Words to live by. I wish I could get string time in year round well I probably could but when it's freezing and the wind is blowing the comforts of the house are too nice to leave. But on that note I'm back from the gym and going to head out to the back yard in a few to do some shooting

Inside? Don't think I could

Inside? Don't think I could ever sell the family on that one. I'll have to start thinking of a way to somehow work that one in...

Yup inside, my wifes friends

Yup inside, my wifes friends think she's crazy to let me, but i dont shoot if the kids are awake only when they're in bed or gone altogether. sometimes I'll sit on the sofa and shoot into the dinningroom its only 5 yards. other times I'll set my target up in the garage and shoot from my bonus room thats about 25yards.

That is great practice! Shooting at 5 yards or shooting at 90 yards it all practice and knowing your weapon is key.

I shoot year around inside and outside. Whether I am shooting winter league or outside chasing bunnies and coyotes.

Must be nice to live where

Must be nice to live where there isn't 5 ft of snow on the ground!  I would like to be able to shoot year around but there are no indoor ranges near me. 240 inches of snow makes outdoor shooting impractical! I find that begining in the spring and shooting regularly is sufficent to prepare me for fall bow hunting. And I shoot a long bow instinctivly.

I've been shooting serrious

I've been shooting serrious for the last  couple of months since my area is covered in snow for most of the winter.  Now if you want to have some fun take the bow out rabbit hunting.  I did last winter and got the horse laugh when I pulled it out instesd of the .22.  I did manage to get 3 rabbits out of the dozen that I shot at.
