I bought my wife a used Mathews FX, she shot it on our 3-d range for about 4 months then got burned out on it.
She worls and goes to LSU at night 4 days a week so she just did not have the time.
The FX was a 50# turend down to 40. She shot it well.
If you get her one 35-45 pounds, I would suggest a cut on contact type broadheadd for the low poundage.
My friends son shoots wild pigs with a micro midas and uses a 75 grain cut on contact. They perform well.
