A little less than 2 months away from the opening of archery elk and early season deer, I cant wait. gonna get up in the wood tomarrow for some scouting.

I'm headed up to my elk/deer
I'm headed up to my elk/deer area on Tuesday that is if I can get through the snow that is still up there. Usually the road isn't opened until around mid July but I'll give it my best. If not I'll just have to stop at a range and throw a few sticks at the targets.

Well, besides trying to find a job...hunting is the second most frequent thing on my mind!
I think I drive my wife nuts, I'm studing maps all year looking at google earth, talking to people, researching new areas, scouting all the time. after hunting season i start all over again for the next year, she chews me out all the time " give 2 months without you talking about your hunting" this year I'm taking her with me and I'm sure she'll be hooked.

Congrats on the new little one. I'm pretty good about doing my stuff when my wife isnt home or doing home work for school more than anything she get tired of me talking about it year round.

55 days and counting till hunting season starts! Seems like so far away but then again it's been going by quick since the end of last season.
