Getting the bear out

Any sugestions on getting a 3-400 pound bear out of the woods if you are back in several miles?

1-Rent a helicopter
2-Get a bunch of big strong friends to help drag or carry it out.
3-Skin and 1/4, then pack it out.

Should have left a trail of bread crumbs out to the road for him to follow before you shot him(her) Laugh

Anyways congrats on a bear kill, looks like I might be bearless up here in NY this year. So get some photos out for us unlucky ones.

i like to keep plenty of good strong helpers around cause they have to come out whole in tn unless you can get the warden to come in to them and that ain't happening

What about a plastic sleigh? Works OK around here but only if the ground is fairly level. Other than that, happy dragging.

Mountains here... and plastic sleighs dont work good when there is no snow and rocks everywhere ti tip it over.. I would rather make a stretcher and carry it out, but I dont get any support on that idea Big smile
