  Election day is just hours

Election day is just hours away!!!  Ran across this interesting election-day map (consider the source as some like 'em and some don't!!!).

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/2010-election-map.htm

Check out the different tabs and see what the current standings are and what the projections are for the results of the 2010 elections!!  Gonna be interesting to watch the results come in!

I voted today but I am

I voted today but I am wondering how much difference it will make. I would like to believe these politicians will stick to their word after the election is over. I guess we will have to see in the coming months.
I have a feeling the turnout was low as I was only the 533 voter at 4:00 pm.

The newly elected politicans

The newly elected politicans better keep their promises or i suspect they will find themselves unemployed after just one term.  The American people are waking up and I hope they will hold the politicans accountable and demand that they do what is best for this country.

The problem is the people don't wake up until the politicians get too extreme in their governing and views. They, the people, don't have or take the time to stay informed with politicians and what they vote for. Maybe this will wake them up but I doubt it.

You have reason to doubt it.

You have reason to doubt it.  Just look at history and you'll see that people are pretty much apathetic when it comes to politics and politicians.  Just look at 2008 when the D's were able to get out the minority and youth vote, but were very unsuccessful in getting these voters engaged this election.

Yeah, the people who voted

Yeah, the people who voted for the D's last time realized they were scammed. Change wasn't what it was cracked up to be or what they expected.

Let's just hope the R's make the right decisions this time. We'll see.
