Get my next Handi Rifle tomorrow!

Hello from Germany!

tomorrow I'll take my next Handi Rifle in .45-70. Looking forward to it. My favorite cartridge will be the Hornady Leverevolution ammo and handloaded bp cartridges.

Gee Kirmeister. What is it with you and those handi rifle things. Don't you have a closet full of them now? Are you trying to get one in every caliber they make? Slow down already!

Hello Kirrmeister,

I also have a NEF Handi Rifle with only a 12g rifled barrel which I bought while working in Michigan in 1995.
Have taken no meat with it yet.
My wife comes also from the Markredwitz area.
I will be in Wunsiedel for 1st May roebuck season start.
USA in Sept/Oct 2009.

What is it with you Bavarians and those handi rifles? I thought you guys were all about Mausers and Mannlichers and stuff. Next thing I know you'll be drinking american beer. Sheesh!

Since one week I have it and I like it. With Hornady Leverevolution it produces 5 shot groups of 1.5'' at 50m with open sight. I tried it also with bp and lead bullets. Same grouping.
