We have two open spots for the 2007-08 season. Chattooga county. Hardwoods, swamps ,pines. Primitave camping. 900 acres 13 members total. Huge bucks, great deer numbers(either sex all of gun season.). Lots of turkeys and small game.
We still have the spots open. I am not advertising this year like I have in the past. I have taken three deer this season and our deer population has exploded in the last few years. I am looking for some good folks.
I also have a lease in Missouri that needs four guys for gun season.
Let me start off by saying I am not a farmer.
I am a deer hunter and I do own a tractor and have all of the equipment - but that does not make you a farmer any more than standing in the garage makes you a car - well, you get the picture!
Having said that - and with most of my ineptitude fairly well hidden - I do think that buckwheat is one of the most under rated cover crops out there.
I say cover crop because I see mixed results as it relates to the deer eating the plants.
