Georgia Hunting regulations

My wife is wanting to start hunting with me. i am looking for a small caliber rifle for her. I would like clarification on what is legal in georgia and what is not. i have been looking at several different calibers. i have looked at the .223 22-250 and the .204. I know with a well placed shot all three will do the job on the small whitetails in our area, but i am not sure about how legal they are. I think the only one that is not legal is the .204 but i am not sure. Can some one let me know if i am right and which would be the better choice for my wife.

The .204 in a nogo here too small a caliber.
The .223 is good under 200yards and the 22-250 is good out to about 300
Depending on the range you will be shooting the 22-250 is the better of them
I would choose the 22-250 myself

This is from the Georgia DNR

Legal Firearms and Archery Equipment Deer, Bear and Hog Firearms:
Modern Rifles and Handguns: .22-cal. or larger centerfire with expanding bullets.

Shotguns: 20-gauge or larger loaded with slugs or buckshot. Buckshot is not allowed on WMAs, unless otherwise specified.

Muzzleloaders: .44-cal. or larger, or muzzleloading shotguns 20 gauge or larger. Scopes are legal.

Primitive Weapons: Legal weapons during primitive weapons season include crossbows, bow and arrow, and muzzleloading firearms. Scope are legal.

Turkey Firearms: Shotguns with No.2 or smaller shot and any muzzleloading firearm.

Feral Hog Firearms: Any deer, turkey & bear or small game firearm.

Where in GA are you hunting? I hunt Adel, Alapaha, Cairo areas.
