general feedback on Colorado GMUs 15 and 27

Can anyone provide general thoughts/feedback on GMUs 15 and 27? Information such as access, pressure, best seasons to hunt, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking about new areas to hunt for 2009 and beyond and driving through the Kremmling area the area west and north of Kremmling look interesting. I usually hunt down south, GMU 86, and would like to find a new area to hunt with my son.

Thank you in advance for any feedback!

I have hunted both units over the last few years (6-8) and have done OK. We hunt South of Rabbitt Ears pass in the North ends of the units. We usually hunt 1st season since there is less pressure, but have hunted 2nd too. Red Dirt Road that runs North/South between Gore Pass and Rabbitt Ears gets a lot of road hunters. When there is snow we do well, when it is warm it is hit and miss. There is a lot of dark timber and open parks. We hunt an area that does not allow ATV's, so horses are your best bet.

Send me an e-mail and I will tell you more... cololender@yahoo.com
