Game Managment Question

I was wondering if you all feel that the washington state fish and game dept. is doing a good job or if they need improvements. I know that as a muzzleloader hunter, our seasons are getting worse every year. It seems that the game department is giving us elk areas where there are no elk or is just private property. Let me know how you feel about our officals in the game department.

sad
If you think it is bad now it will only get worse as long as the muzzleloaders don't go to the meetings in a large enough force to be heard .
I have been a muzzleloader (flintlock real black powder & round balls) hunter for over 35 yrs.
So far this is the worst year ever for me . Seasons to short , 7days Deer and Elk at the same time and I drew a cow tag also. Think

Game Managment Question

I agree we do need a organization that will represent all us muzzleloaders in this state. I used to be a member of the washington muzzleloading Ass. but I found that they are more into traditional muzzleloaders only and want to ban inlines. I feel it does not matter what type of muzzleloader we are using, we still need to get a organization up and running that will stand up for our rights and get us some prime areas. I know many muzzleloaders from black powder clubs and shoots. I've been talking to them about starting a organization but no one seems to have time to attend the meeting or run the oraganiztion. I hope to get the word out that some retired poeple or people with a flexable time schedule would be useful in getting something started.
