Game cam's

the flash work really well at night. but what i did is covered the flash light with light paint cause i don't want to spook the bears, all i want is enough light to see the shade of the animal and of course the time it hit the bait.

as for the battery life , one of my moultries 100 cam took just about 200 photos and some were taking during the night until it finally died , so again not bad at all .

now just one downfall i've notice with the moultrei 100 is the range, the cam has to be within 20' or it won't pick up the motion, while other cameras of mine has much longer range, but again 20' to me is more then enough !

I am not sure if porka is looking at the same cams or has the same cam but i do recommend them to anyone, i've been happy with mine so far ! Big smile

I got it at Walmart, $79 on sale. I just put it up at my bait so I'll let you know how it works in about a week. So far I like it.

Porka, did u add an external memory card to it or not ? the moultrie 100 has an internal 16 MG memory card but it will only store about 100 photos or so, but if u add an external 126 MB memory card it will take up to 600 photos.

and one more thing, did u install the camera in the evening ?! couldn't u wait til morning ?! hopefully u did not spook any bears!what happen to the 6 HOURS BEFORE SUNSET RULE WE TALKED ABOUT ? ! Brick Wall,)

he he he, I put the camera in place Sat "morning." Thumbs up

I have two 256 cards that I just swap every time I drop more bait off, that way I don't have to haul my laptop in there everytime.

Hey guys, just got last weeks pictures from the camera. It's been about 8 days since the last, and the camera was still going strong, so it seems reliable. The batter was at 48%, and it's been running for about 15 days now.

I posted some great pics at my other posting for you guys to see the quality.

I'd recommend this camera to anybody if they can still find them at Wal Mart for $79. The one I bought mine at has sold out already!!
