I plowed 6 1/4 acre plots this weekend. I would like to plant something to attract/feed deer. If it should help antlers grow, then that would be great also. My problem is seed selection. There seems to be a million different combinations and types of seed. I want something that will come back every year. I live in North Central North Carolina. What do the deer prefer to eat in this area? What goes well with the climate here?

Bryan,
try something with some chicory in it, and treat it with rack max, along with a quality fertilizer. And don't forget the soil test for lime. Its late for regular lime but pelletized lime applie after planting may do some good this summer.

That chicory really attracts 'em, and the turkeys love it also. Maybe try mixing it with some clover or peas.
