Curious as to your fravorite flushing breed, and why?

Strong, loyal, cold tolerant & water lovers as I like a versatile dog as I like waterfowl hunting a lot as well.

There is not a dog out there that can flush pheasants better than an English Pointer.  Even a good train one will flush birds from 100 to 1,000 yards away.  A poorly trained GSP is a close second.  The invention of shock collars has ruined these breeds as flushing dogs, now all they do is work out to a hundred yards or so and point.
