Flip Flop?

What do you all think of this quote John Mccain said back in 07 regarding the Gooliani and Mittens:

Back in October 2007, when McCain's candidacy still appeared dead and buried, the Senator berated the two Republican front runners for lacking the necessary political experience to handle commander in chief responsibilities.

"I have had a strong and a long relationship on national security, I've been involved in every national crisis that this nation has faced since Beirut, I understand the issues, I understand and appreciate the enormity of the challenge we face from radical Islamic extremism," the Senator declared. "I am prepared. I am prepared. I need no on-the-job training. I wasn't a mayor for a short period of time. I wasn't a governor for a short period of time."

Seems a little bit like a flip flop doesn't it?

Kinda like how Pat Roberts, James Dobson, and others were "Agents of Intolerance" but are now good chums of his. Why Dobson even prayed for Obamas DNC speech to be rained out. How spiritual of him.

No, if you think about it in laymens terms. Ok if your looking for a supervisor you dont hire a laboror, you hire a journeyman. Then you train that laboror to be a journey man then they might have the experience nessasary to be a supervisor. Your number 2 guy or gal can have less experience because that will come. But to have a number 1 that has none is unexceptable and not viable.

Flip Flop?

The Democrats have a lot of nerve talking about flip-flops.

How about this quote from Obama after doing everything he could to stop the surge in Iraq, months of declaring it a failure, and saying it was misguided:

"The surge has succeeded beyond our wildest expectations."

Funny how now that history has proven outrageously wrong, he wants to stand in the victory circle. What a joke. If that ain't the biggest flip-flop in history, I don't know what is.

SoCo.... What position is Palin going for? commander n Cheif? I don't believe so.

This is one thing you guys always seem to get wrong. McCain was fighting for the presidency. Not the Vice presidency. The fact that he berated someone for being a governor for a short time, but then picks one for his VP, does not make him a Flip Flopper. After all, when was the last time we needed a VP? When Reagan was shot? And that was only for a short time. Granted, mcCain is older, but do we seriously fear he'll die in office????? eye roll

Heck, everyone is voting for Obama because they want a "change" from normal Washington politics. Then Obama goes ahead and selects a running mate who has been part of that political culture since Omaba was, what, 7 years old? Way to go Hussein, nice flip flop..... Shame on You!

See, I can play that game too..... eye roll
