FL primative weapons hunt late season???

I was planning on going to North FL in febuary. We usually hunt the late primative weopons season, but looking through the myfwc.com website i don't see a season for it in the hunting rules and regs.

It's been 3 years since I have hunted this season and am wandering if they did away with it or what. It's still a long ways away just trying to plan when or if im taking off from work.

Any info would be nice we usually hunt the Apalachicola National Forest...

FL primative weapons hunt late season???

Feb 18 thru 28 is the Late season Muzzleloading gun for the Northwest Zone.in which The Apalachicola National Forest falls.

http://www.myfwc.com/RECREATION/Hunt_SeasDates0910.htm

Here is a link to the handbook for that area.

What does Florida call "primitive weapons"? I could not find that designation in the wording of the regulations. Confused

Archery and Muzzleloading Gun are the Primitive weapons referred to even though the season for them is no longer called "Primitive Weapons" hunts.
There used to be an Archery season and then a Muzzleloading season before the General Gun season and then a Primitive Weapons season after the General Gun season and before the Spring Gobbler season.
Now it is refered to as the Archery/Muzzleloading Gun season.
