First Trail Cam Pics

Might be early for some but I set out 2 of my 3 trail cams back in April and just picked them up last weekend. This was my first time setting up my own cams and I was pretty excited at what I turned up. Attached are some of the highlights. I cant wait to see what these bulls grow into. I also got a random domestic dog at almost midnight which was really odd, as this wasnt in any close proximity to usual camping spots or civilization.

Some great pictures there,

Some great pictures there, thanks for sharing them! We have used trail cams some the last 4-5 years, especially on our Kentucky lease for deer. They can be a big help in seeing what type & size animals are frequenting an area. Back in 2012 we had some pictures of a nice buck, which I was able to take on opening day. When we pulled the camera, we also had a picture of him right where he was shot from earlier that same day. Also had a picture of me dragging him out...lol!

I'll keep an eye out here to see any more pics you might post here. Thanks again for sharing!

Nice Pics

Great Pics. That bull looks like he has some thick bases on him. Hopefully they'll stay close throughout the year.

Its actually two different

Its actually two different bulls. If you look closely, one already is starting to fork a bit. I am going to do my best to keep an eyye on them throughout the year. It shouldnt be too difficult as my brother lives in the area and he is helping check cams and move them around for me also.

I just got a trail cam a

I just got a trail cam a couple weeks ago.  Got some good pics so far, and I'm really having fun seeing who's going by and when!

Check out the time stamps on these three pics, thought it was kind of cool.  Notice the doe laying down on the right in pic 1, two minutes later bull walks by with doe still laying there, one min after that a buck coming the other way.  Everyone getting along in the woods!

I think you found a great

I think you found a great spot to start hunting. Now if you can hide and stay as still as the camera you will have it made. Very cool photos.

the good news is the trail

the good news is the trail cam worked well and there is a lot of wildlife around.  the bad news is this is on some property we own and hunting is not allowed in the community!  So by setting up the camera for the first time, just to see if it worked, I got to see a bunch of animals that I can't hunt.....like this guy, and this guy...
