Went setting traps today and found first shed antler. 63" right side. Seemed a little early.

Nice find. I agree it sure does seem to be early. Catching anything on your trapline?

Things have really slowed down on the traps. Last couple weeks has been very cold and unfriendly to the critters. Weather changing as we speak though. Tomorrow temp. suppose to be 60's Hopefully will get things started again.

My Dad trapped a lot of coyotes in North Central Nebraska back in the '80s. They used to pay fairly well for the pelts. It was a good extra income for us. Anyone know what a coyote pelt is bringing these days?
