Well first thing tomorrow morning my son and I will be on the road to pick up my dad and then head to Utah to go fishing all weekend. Lake powell is my favorite fishing destination and we try to make it at least twice a year. We would go more but it takes over 5 hours to get there. Striped bass, largemouth, smallmouth, walleye, catfish, crappie, and assorted other panfish.
The lake is almost 200 miles long and extends all the way into Arizona. It's actually the colorado river dammed up. It's still rising nearly a foot a day right now due to the late snowmelt this year so it's hard to say how the fishing will be right now but it's always a great time no matter what happens. It can get a little warm though and did go over 110 on one of our trips last year.
I won't see a computer till monday night so I'll try to post back in then.
